Perranporth is a growing town situated 10 miles South of Newquay on the North coast of Cornwall. Driving down the hill into the town, you are greeted with a picturesque view overlooking the town and beach, as it sits in a river formed valley opening out to the sea.

During the summer months the town is a buzz of activity with a strong surfing presence and dedicated local surfing crew. However unlike its crowded neighbour Newquay, Perranporth retains a friendly atmosphere and never gets uncomfortably busy.

The town has everything you could ask for from local trinket and beach shops to specialist surf shops and lively pubs, including the Seiners Arms with the “Rock Bar” giving spectacular views across the beach. As for the surfing, there are 3 miles of consistent beach break peaks backed by sand dunes and cliffs. This ensures that crowding is never a problem and you can wander until you spy a peak that suits you. From May to September there is also a highly trained lifeguard team to make sure everyone's stay is as safe as possible.

Freeride Surf School is situated right next to the beach and beach car park, can be found at the front of Seiners bar, hotel and restaurant. With our exclusive beachside location, ideal for surf hire and lessons and within easy walking distance of Perranporths' cliffs and town centre, we offer comprehensive packages, professional service and cheap prices to suit everyone. So, whether you are after lessons, hire or just a chat and some friendly advice pop in and see us and find out what we're all about.
